Condition: Good Leabhuir na Seintiomna. The Books of the Old Testament Translated into Irish by the Care and Diligence of Doctor William Bedel, Late Bishop of Kilmore in Ireland and for the Publick Good of that Nation. London: 1685. First Edition. Pp, 1142. Bound in contemporary calf, raised bands, titles and lines in gold to spine. A small number of pages, including the title page, have been replaced with photocopies of the original., otherwise the book remains in its original form. The pages have faded due to age but still very legible and easy to read. Title in English and Irish, with text in Irish printed in double columns throughout. An extremely scarce original in good overall condition. Collector’s Item.
